Come to the Lawrence Street Gallery during the month of February to experience The Body Eclectic.

This juried competition and exhibition celebrates the figure in all forms and media, both two and three dimensional.

Body Eclectic is one of the most popular annual shows at the Lawrence Street Gallery and attracts artists and collectors alike.

Each year over 100 local artists enter to exhibit their work and eager crowds attend the opening to view portraiture and figurative art in media such as photography, clay, painting, drawing, metal, and more.

The juror for this event is Meighen Jackson - her mixed media collages are based on Great Lakes grasses and reeds. She holds an MFA in painting from the University of Cincinnati an teaches the Personal Visions class at the BBAC.

In additon to the exhibit, Lawrence Street Gallery artists will feature new works including jewelry, ceramics and woodworking as well as two-dimensional art.

Poetic Travelers

You are cordially invited to attend a celebration with Poetic Travelers, a poetry series established by poet/author, Tonja Dudley Bagwell (Sunrise of Revelations and Grace in a Garland, Jafansta, Inc.). Bring your friends and family to enjoy a featured poet(s) and/or performer plus Open Mic. We meet every 3rd Friday.
